Matt’s IGN Wii Post Suggests to Go Elsewhere

This has to be a joke, otherwise he is a traitor.  If you go to the site, you will notice that his blog was deleted.  So who knows…

Moving On
As many of you know, I’ve been spending a lot of “off time on the Wii and GameCube channels since E3. Last week, it hit me: maybe I’m not into this job anymore. My most-wanted games right now are DOAX2, Heavenly Sword, and Motor Storm — and none of these games are coming to a Nintendo platform. As of last week, I’ve put in a request with Tal to let me run either the PlayStation 3 or the Xbox 360 channels. Although he won’t admit it, Doug Perry’s heart is still with Nintendo, so I’ll most likely be swapping positions with him. Doug ran N64.com and was my boss back in 1997, so it’ll be like giving the keys to the city to the old mayor. With both Rare and Silicon Knights making games for 360, it’ll be like returning home for me, too.I hope Nintendo fans won’t begrudge my decision. If you like my writing, just follow me to the new platform. If not, enjoy Doug’s and Bozon’s insane ramblings on IGN Wii.

See you on the other side.
