Sensitivity and Calibration

After hearing about the problems with some of the FPS’s I came to a conclusion, it was the Sesitivity. While this may be a problem that the devolpers know about, will they be able to fix it so the FPS experience is perfected, or is it more than that?

Let me just get over a question I have been asked alot about the Wii: How do you calibrate the controller? The short answer: You dont. The Wii uses the three LEDs in the control strip to provide a central calibration point that eliminates this problem by recalibrating the controller’s position every so often. So basically you wont have to calibrate cause it should adjust fine. With only the need of one if no calibration at all.

What needs to be thought about are new systems of gameplay on the Wii. It has a special controller so it should have special genre’s. Hopefully, the devolpers are seeing this.

Good point. I am thinking they should have a game where you can do chores, like wash the dishes, fold laundry, clean a room, dust things off, etc. With the Wii remote, that would be cool.

Maybe, there will be some kind of strap where you can strap a Wiimote to one foot, one on the other, and one in each hand, providing you have 4 Wiimotes. Then all you would need for these type of games is the use of the motion sensing in the controllers, with no use of the buttons. Imagine a karate game where you can kick your left foot (attached to the Wiimote) to kick at certain angles, which will be implemented onto the screen. I can DEFINITELY see this happening…
