Some Strange Occurences Today
After hot dog flinging till 4pm, I decided to make my rounds. I stopped at my local Gamestop, then Recordhead. Man, Recordhead has some nice rare Cube games. That’s where I bought Judge Dredd: Dredd vs. Death. I didn’t see anything interesting there. I was thinking of buying a CD or two, maybe a female vocal rock or rap metal CD.
Next was Target. Interesting; there was a blank SKU for a Harvest Moon DS game, whish isn’t scheduled till Sept. 11th, two weeks from now. COULD THIS GAME BE BREAKING ITS RELEASE AND COME OUT EARLY?
Now onward to the Gamestop and EB in my mall. Nothing of interest at EB, but that darn GAMESTOP. I noticed that a clipboard with a colorful Wii pic and Wii controllers and underneath was a Nintendo Wii Calling List! Man, I was going to write my name down, but the manager, Bruce, told me I’d be better off just calling every once in awhile until we can reserve them. There was already a page and a half of names and numbers, but what also was funny was the fact that the Revolution name was crossed out in replace of Wii! Man, the Revolution name. I will never forget…of course, I grabbed the latest Cube, Wii, and DS release lists, which I will post next.
Lastly, I decided to go to my local Mega Media Exchange. They have a LOT of CD’s, video games, and other random things. Half the CD’s aren’t even in alphabetical order. At least they are within the right letters (most of the time). Once I opened the door, I heard this ever-so-familiar music in the background. It was indeed a rendition of the Legend of Zelda theme, but different than what I’ve ever heard! I wanted to know where I could get the Zelda-themed song, but to no avail. I wonder if anyone knows where to buy it, unless if they downloaded it off the Internet; I don’t know.
