CRAZINESS! WII CRAZINESS! If you want to take a look at the best games ever created, then check this out:
It’s official: GameCube is out and Wii is in. We will always love our little purple lunchboxes, but the truth is that we can continue to play all of our favorite GCN offerings on Nintendo’s new console. With that in mind, there’s little reason not to make the jump to the “new generation,” as Nintendo has lovingly dubbed it.
Of course, all things considered, the fact that Wii plays GCN games is probably one of the least compelling reasons to pick up the new console — at least compared to its other selling points. Not only is it sleeker, smaller and more powerful than its predecessor, but it has a launch library that immediately surpasses some second and even third generation outtings on other systems. Wii will launch with what could be the best videogame of all time in The Legend of Zelda
: Twilight Princess, and with other potential hits like Metroid, Rayman, Madden, Far Cry, Red Steel and Excite Truck rounding out the list, there are a lot of games to be jazzed about.Nintendo
says playing is believing. We’ve played Wii’s lineup and we are believers. Keep on reading to discover which Wii games will be available for your holiday wish list. We think you’ll be surprised by just how many titles are on the way for the system’s launch.
