Nintendo Co.’s Wii held in the top ten sales while Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation 3 remained out of the sales tier on Tues. at retailer Amazon.com.

Wii ranked as the No. 3 best-selling product at Amazon’s Computer & Video Games division. Additionally, it held several products in the top ten, including the Wii Charge Station at No. 2, Wii Nunchuk at No. 4, and Super Mario Galaxy at No. 5.

Microsoft’s Xbox 360 Elite Sytem ranked at No. 15 in the division. The $449 SKU held sales above the No. 36 ranked Premium SKU, which sold out this week from the retailer.

Sony’s 60gb PS3 ranked in the No. 21 sales position. The hardware was able to rank one related item in the top 20 sales, the Sixaxis wireless controller at No. 19.

Nintendo said this month that it will not price cut the Wii like competitors this holiday season. Microsoft price cut all Xbox 360 SKUs in Aug and Sony discounted the 60GB PS3 in July. What affect will this have on the Wii’s Holiday Season?

I believe it will be sold out once again this Christmas and through the end of the year. Demands probably will not be met until mid 2008. ~my predictions
