NESynth is a virtual synthesizer that simulated 8 bit sound of video games in the 80’s.

Real 8-Bit Sounds
NESynth modulate wave forms of old game chip’s.
The shape of waves is very real.
– Three pulse wave forms (duty cycle 1:1 1:3 1:7).
– Virtual triangle wave form.
– White noise supporting two modes.

Sweep
Pitch bending controlled by iPhone’s acceleration sensor in real time. It’s simulate the pitch bending of old game hardware frequency.

Arpeggiator
“Arpeggio” is a technique of old game music. If you play any piano chord, the keyboard is sequentially pushed at high speed.

13 pre-sampling effects are prepared.
