Famitsu gave the game a 8/8/7/7 a total of 30 out of 40 saying that the gameplay is a huge homage to The Legend of Zelda and there are numerous references to Nintendo Entertainment System games throughout the game causing the game to be a “nostalgia-laden trip”. Famitsu also praised the graphics saying that the blocky animations are pretty and that they fuse the old with the new seamlessly, also saying that it was a fun and well-made title, though it does not qualify as a new and original game.

This game really AMZAZING and it very well deserves a sequel, this what should they add, dark world like A Link to the Past, when you finish 3 dugeons and get the Master Sword to defeat Aganim you go to the Dark World and finish 7 dugeons and enter the castle, more variety of wepons, improve Bow & Arrow. Make more challenging  and much harder than the first one, and a magic mirrior to return to the light world like in Link to the past.
