EDIT 2 – I have been informed by Nintendo themselves that this is NOT Reggie’s real account. It became apparent after a few posts that it wasn’t him. Sorry for the bad info. Now where’s that “Jump to Conclusions” mat?
EDIT 1 – First signs of being fake noticed. In a recent Tweet @NintendoReggie posted “Still kicking ass, taking names, and making games.” I don’t think family friendly Nintendo would allow Reggie to post that. I’m going go ahead and call this one a fake until further notice.
Checking my emails I see that a certain “@NintendoReggie” started following our Twitter feed. I checked it out and found that the *real* Reggie had joined Twitter!
He wrote us this thank you message for following him back:
Thanks for following me! Now go prepare yourself for the ultimate surprises at E3.
He began to follow WiiNintendo.net in his Twitter feed when he was only following 7 Twitter feeds (we feel so special, thanks Reggie!).
Anyway, he’s been on Twitter since about noon time EDT and has already posted some great stuff, talking smack on Sony, and priming the pump for E3 (and turns out he’s an iPhone user too):
I’ve played through the new Zelda demo, and it is absolutely phenomenal. The best Zelda to date, no question. about 2 hours ago via Twitter for iPhone
I thought I’d make myself a presence on Twitter since @TheKevinButler seems to think he’s so hot. How’s that PSP Go? about 3 hours ago via Twitter for iPhone
Pumped for our E3 announcements? Nintendo will be providing a stream at e3.nintendo.com! June 15, 9am PT. about 3 hours ago via Twitter for iPhone
Home after a long night. E3 is going to be full of surprises. The fans will love it.
