(E3 2010) Rock Band 3 (DS) – Hands-On First Impressions

E3 2010 Hands-On First Impressions with hattrick

Game: Rock Band 3
System: Nintendo DS

Taking a different approach than Guitar Hero did for the Nintendo DS, Rock Band 3 follows in its predecessors’ footprints.  Instead of actually strumming a fake guitar or hitting drums on the screen, you use the DS buttons to match the rhythms coming down the note highway.  When you play enough of one instrument, you use the L or R button to change to another instrument.  All in all, this is not nearly as fun as playing the actual Rock Band 3 guitar, drums, or piano on the Wii home console.  If you are a huge fan of Rock Band on DS, pick it up; but if not, it is probably better to stay away from this one.
