In celebration of the recently launched title Ivy the Kiwi? from Sonic creator Yuji Naka and his game development studio, PROPE, XSEED Games is pleased to release a new series of Ivy the Kiwi? videos that highlight some of the game’s more advanced controls. These “super play” videos showcase how practice of the unique control scheme, whether on Wii or DS, can lead to the ultimate in mastery of Ivy the Kiwi? moves. Ivy the Kiwi? features gameplay mechanics that are simple to understand but difficult to master. These new super play videos beg the question: are you up to the challenge?
In Ivy the Kiwi? players guide lone baby bird Ivy as she runs freely through levels of varying complexity, guided by vines that are drawn with either the Wii Remote or DS stylus to help her avoid obstacles and quickly clear the stage before time is up! As the complexity of the levels ramps up, players can employ a variety of tactics including: the use of ultra-long vines to limit time loss, rotating vines clockwise and counterclockwise and use of Ivy’s special torpedo attack, a fast, powerful move with the ability to blast Ivy through obstacles and across stages. Learn to chain these moves together, and you could be well on your way to clearing levels with blazing speed.
