Cammie Dunaway to leave Nintendo
Nintendo of America’s marketing boss won’t be appearing on stage again as she will be leaving the company on October 1st after accepting a position outside the games industry.
Cammie Dunaway joined Nintendo in 2007, taking Reggie Fils-Aime’s old job after he was made president of NoA. She made her E3 debut a year later when she joined Shaun White on stage to play his latest snowboarding game using the Balance Board.
“We appreciate Cammie’s contributions to Nintendo and the role she played in bringing the Wii and Nintendo DS experiences to millions of people,” said NoA head Reggie Fils-Aime.
“Her team and the rest of Nintendo of America remain focused on our goal of maintaining the incredible momentum Nintendo enjoys heading into the busy holiday season.”
Dunaway added: “I’m thankful for my time with Nintendo and proud of our team’s accomplishments in growing the Nintendo audience. I look forward to watching the continued growth of the Nintendo brand in the years ahead.”
