Will Epic Mickey Make You Cry?

According to Warren Spector, chief designer on Disney’s Epic Mickey, the music will make you cry. He likens it to Pixar films in that regard. While I have had time to play the game, it was never in the setting where I could listen closely to the music. I guess we will find out for ourselves if a video game can make you cry when Disney’s Epic Mickey hits North American store shelves on November 30, 2010.

“Like you listen to Pixar movies, and I look over at my wife and said ‘I want to do a game someday that deserves a soundtrack like that. With music like that.’  I could not be happier with the music in this game.  People are going to cry.”
