Nintendo 3DS First Firmware Update Allows for 3D Video Playback

The Nintendo 3DS firmware is now available. The latest version is “1.1.0-1J”. One of the biggest addition is 3D video playback for “Music Live 3D.” The change-log is as follows;

  • Improved system stability: Improved general system stability.
  • Spot-pass function update: Extended function to receive notice data and etc.
  • Betterment of network connection: A step to connect to part of Nintendo Zone and other wireless internet connection which could not possible to.
  • Add “Music Live 3D movie”: Supplying musical piece is “Theme of Super Mario Brothers” performed by Koji Kondo(Piano) who is a composer of Super Mario series and session musicians.
