Pikmin 3 moved to Wii U

Most people expected it, but it’s now official: Pikmin 3 has been moved to Wii U. In the Developer Round Table today, Miyamoto at first told the press that he would not answer any questions about Pikmin. But at the end, he mentioned how this year is the 10th anniversary of Pikmin and he wanted to release it this year on Wii to coincide with that. But as he was working on Wii U and saw the HD graphics and new controller, he knew it was the perfect system for Pikmin 3. Apparently, the Wii version was far in development, so Miyamoto said it might not be too long of a wait until it’s ready on Wii U. He’s not supposed to announce it officially, but he wanted to so he did. So that’s that… Pikmin 3 will be on Wii U.
