Reel Fishing Paradise 3D (3DS) – Hands-On First Impressions

Natsume is bringing Reel Fishing Paradise 3D to the Nintendo 3DS, and I got some hands-on with it. All in all, it looked nice, but the concept is very simple. Just cast and reel in, hopefully catching a fish. You can use the A button to cast, snag with a quick jerk on the system, and reel with the A button or the touch screen. I do not think it is a bad game, but I do not know if it is worth a full retail release, as most will get bored with this after a short time. However, there has always been an audience for fishing games that do the exact same thing.

If you are a fisherman, I would rather suggest you go fishing. However, if it is the middle of the winter, or you are miles from water, this might be fun for you. The water and fish do look nice in 3D, though.
