Battle Mii tech demo (Wii U) – Hands-On First Impressions

One of the Wii U tech demos at E3 2011 was called, “Battle Mii.” In it, two Mii players dressed in Samus costumes use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to shoot down the third player. That player uses the new controller and screen to fly around the level in an attempt to shoot the opposing players. The two-player team runs, aims, and shoots with their controllers. The flying player uses the two analog circle pads and the gyrometer to maneuver while shooting with the triggers. The flying player has six lives, and the running players have three each. This was a very fun demo, and I really hope it makes its way into an actual game in the future. It did a great job of showing how a third controller with separate screen can interface with the rest of the game and players.

I’m badly eager to take a shot. The difficulty is a big issue cuz I’m a beginner of this type.
