Treyarch bringing Modern Warfare 3 to Wii

by Steve CullumAugust 4, 2011

Maybe you have heard by now, but if not, it has been confirmed by several sources now that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is, in fact, coming to Wii. The ones to do it are Treyarch, the same team who brought Modern Warfare Reflex and Black Ops to Wii. While it seems we will probably never get Modern Warfare 2, the third iteration will be possibly the last Call of Duty game to hit Wii, as the next one will probably head to Wii U.

Now, the question is if you will be purchasing Modern Warfare 3 for Wii. I know it is probably not going to happen for those of you who own other consoles, but if you are a Wii-only home, will this new Call of Duty be on your to-buy list? As of now, we do not know much about it, meaning if it will be the same basic game as the other versions or not. In many fans’ opinions, Treyarch usually does a great job on their ports, but only time will tell.

will buy, black ops was a blast even on Wii and the online is great and very in depth. If only more games had this kind of open online.
