Nintendo Download – October 13, 2011

by Steve CullumOctober 13, 2011

The Nintendo Download scene is not one that is quickly growing, but it is growing, nonetheless. This week, we get a total of only four new games. On the 3DS Virtual Console, you can download the Game Boy puzzler Catrip. For DSiWare, you can get both Furry Legends and 1001 Blockbusters. WiiWare grows by 101 games in one title, since the game is actually called 101-in-1 Explosive Megamix. Also available on WiiWare is a free demo of FAST: Racing League.

Do not forget about your FREE copy of The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition available for every DSi and 3DS owner (for a limited time). And if you have not done so yet, download your ten free NES games available for all Nintendo 3DS Ambassadors. Speaking of which, NintendoFuse will soon be starting a competition surrounding those ten Ambassador games! The GBA games will be here by the end of 2011.

As always, check out the price list and official press release below. Be sure to let us know if you download a game and what you think.

I just downloaded Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins yesterday.  From what I’ve played of it, I wouldn’t mind seeing another installment released.

This weeks releases don’t seem that great.  Although, Catrip and Furry Legends look interesting.
