Mario Kart 7 “Kart Rules” TV Commercial

Here is a really fun TV commercial Nintendo has put together for Mario Kart 7. It seems they are using the same real-life acting direction they went with for Super Mario 3D Land. Is this possibly one of the better ways to get the 3D nature across to potential customers?
