by Steve CullumNovember 22, 2011

It’s almost Thanksgiving time again, which means it’s also time for our annual Top 10 list of family games on Wii. With the growing list of 4-player games a game system that most people have in their homes, it was tough to narrow it down. Some are similar to past years, but others are new to the list, or have moved around. Check it out, and let us know what Wii games you love playing with your family during the holidays.

Amazing video, Steve! Have you thought of a voice over career? Haha.
My family always loves “Scene It” and the original Wii Sports bowling and tennis. Your list was spot on.

Wii Sports Resort is definitely a must for visiting family. My father-in-law was up for a week, and we played a TON of bowling and Frisbee, and he’s an expert at it…I couldn’t beat his scores while he was here!
Out of all the games you mentioned though, we only officially own two of them, Mario Kart Wii and Tetris Party. New Super Mario Bros. Wii is in our collection right now, as is Wii Sports Resort, but they are both being borrowed.

I think Mario Kart Wii is a great family favourite. This, for me, is the best game to play with the family! Bob-ombs, Red Shells, crazy music and flashing lights. You can select a wide variety of characters, and racing, laughing, and just having fun! My favourite mode is the online multiplayer Friends mode, so that you can play friends and family all over the world. I will rate this game 10 out of 10!
