Artist’s Note: I was pretty amazed, considering I drew this before the whole PETA “Mario Kills Tanooki thing”! And I apologize for the ”raccoon suit” label on the box… a couple of my friends didn’t get the joke until I changed it to that! After all, “tanooki” is a pretty foreign term. Regardless, the message is still the same… how can a man who stomps on turtles and wears tanooki fur be promoting animal cruelty?
