Poll Results: What was the strongest Nintendo platform in 2011?

by Steve CullumMarch 22, 2012

The results are in! We asked you what the strongest Nintendo platform of 2011 was, and you answered. In fact, over 1,700 of you responded. The overwhelming top response, with roughly 60% of the votes, was the Nintendo 3DS, which is quite odd when thinking about how much criticism it received for its launch lineup and beyond. Either things got better throughout the year, or the other platforms were even worse. In second place was the Wii with about 25% of the votes. The rest were much lower in ranking with DSiWare receiving the least votes, with only 1.5%.

Be sure to vote in our newest poll, where we ask what you think about the Wii U name. Do you love it, think it is just ok, or hate it? Vote in the side panel today!

I figured this would be the hands-down winner when the poll was all said and done. :)  I was a bit surprised to see the Wii out in front of the DS, truth be told.
