  • Price drop ($250 down to current $170)
  • System updates for Street Pass, addition of video recording
  • Swapnote
  • Launching of major software (Super Mario 3D Land, Mariokart 7, Kid Icarus Uprising, among numerous other great 1st and 3rd party titles)
  • Available in Aqua Blue, Cosmo Black, Flame Red and Pearl Pink

There are plenty other highlights over the past year.

I even have the aqua one you showed.  I didn’t grab the 3DS right when it came out – but my wife snagged it for me for Christmas.  Luckily I didn’t have to suffer through some of the growing pains or the higher price point, but I have been very happy with my little system there.
