Happy Birthday to the 3DS!
The Nintendo 3DS has been out a full year now (today, in North America!). Some of the major changes have included:
- Launch of the eShop
- Price drop ($250 down to current $170)
- System updates for Street Pass, addition of video recording
- Swapnote
- Launching of major software (Super Mario 3D Land, Mariokart 7, Kid Icarus Uprising, among numerous other great 1st and 3rd party titles)
- Available in Aqua Blue, Cosmo Black, Flame Red and Pearl Pink
There are plenty other highlights over the past year.
As Nintendo of America celebrates it’s 1st birthday, a gift to each owner: A Reggie Mii! If you connect to the internet (like to the eShop) then return to the main menu, you should get a spot pass notification for the Streetpass Plaza. Upon opening, you will see the Reggie Mii who will add a special Mii accomplishment, ANY puzzle piece of your choice (from any of the available panels), and he will be a level 5 fighter in Find Mii 1 (or 2).
