Nintendo Download – April 19, 2012

by Steve CullumApril 19, 2012

Another Thursday and another time for a low number of new downloads for Nintendo systems. I hate to be the bearer of bad news once again, but this week brings us only two new titles and one new demo.

If you did not get the 3D Classics: Kid Icarus download code when you bought Kid Icarus: Uprising, you can now download it to your 3DS via the eShop. In addition, you can get a free demo of Pyramids. The only other new game is I Must Run! for DSiWare, which looks very similar to Bit.Trip Runner.

One other thing worth mentioning is that season 2 of Dinosaur Office will premier on the 3DS Nintendo Video app on April 20.

Be sure to check out the price list and official press release below, and let us know if you download a game/app and what you think.

3DS eShop (3DS)

  • 3D Classics: Kid Icarus ($5.99)
  • Pyramids demo (FREE)

DSiWare (DSi/3DS)

  • I Must Run! ($1.99 / 200 Points)

So I guess the Wii is officially dead to Nintendo now?  No Virtual Console, no WiiWare?  How depressing.  This is exactly why I bought an Xbox last year.  Xbox Live Arcade is freaking amazing.
