Check out the First ‘Toki Tori 2′ Trailer for Wii U

Toki Tori was a somewhat popular game for Game Boy Color, and the remake for Wii (and other systems) has done fairly well. Now, developer and publisher Two Tribes has announced a sequel, simply titled, “Toki Tori 2,” will be heading to Wii U “soon-ish.” Check out the first trailer below.

For those wondering if either version of Toki Tori will hit the 3DS eShop, I had a brief Twitter conversation with Two Tribes, which shed a little light on this question. The original game is already available on the Virtual Console in Europe, so there is a good chance we will see it soon in North America. As far as the remake, they said the chance is small, but perhaps it will happen later.
