Nintendo Download – August 16, 2012

While Mario fans have much to expect this weekend, others are left in waiting. This week’s Nintendo Download contains two new titles, which are actually the same game in two forms.

Those two titles are Crazy Chicken: Pirates (DSiWare) and Crazy Chicken: Pirates 3D (3DS). Be sure to check out our review of the 3DS version! That is it in terms of new games. However, for those of you who own Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, there is some downloadable content in the form of new songs available.

The main focus seems to be on Mario, specifically New Super Mario Bros. 2, which hits the 3DS eShop at midnight August 19. There is another Coin Rush video available for viewing on the eShop to help you prepare. The “Month of Mario” also continues with Mario’s Picross available at a discounted $2.99 in the eShop.

What do you think of this week’s releases? What game gets you excited to play? Let us know in the comments below or in our forums! Be sure to check out the price list (coming soon) and official press release below, and let us know if you download a game/app and what you think.

DSiWare

  • Crazy Chicken: Pirates (200 Points)

3DS eShop

  • Crazy Chicken: Pirates 3D ($1.99)
