The Ultimate Mario Kart 7 Competition – Win a Wii U!

by Jeremy HardinSeptember 14, 2012

So you think you’re pretty good, or perhaps the best at Mario Kart 7 don’t you? Maybe you’re just lucky? Well we here at NintendoFuse have decided that it’s time for you to put your coins where your mouth is and show us your skills in the Ultimate Mario Kart 7 tournament!

The tournament will begin on Saturday, October 27th 2012. It will be 2-4 Saturdays following based on the number of participants.

Players will be logging into the communities that are sent via PM each Saturday and racing whoever is down for a game. Times will be based on participant availability, but recommend to play during the day 12pm EST-6pm EST and evening 7pm-11:59pm EST. I will be logging in at that time (11:59pm EST) and be grabbing scores. If a race is in progress it will not be counted. Players can continue to use the communities during the week to practice or play for fun (codes will be posted with results), or use the official NintendoFuse one to play.

As for the prize…well, we know bragging rights would be reward enough for you, but we’ve decide to sweeten the pot just a bit.  Show us your skills and you just might walk away with one of these 3 GRAND Prizes!

Enter our tournament for your chance to win!

***Open to residents of the United States and Canada only***

Jeremy's love of gaming, especially Nintendo started in the late 80's when his parents bought him and his older brother an NES. Many hours were spent playing Mario and Duck Hunt. Eventually Jeremy graduated to bigger and better games and systems, like the SNES, GC, Wii, 3DS, and finally to the Wii U. Ask him what the defining moment of his childhood gaming was and he'll answer, "the day I beat Zelda 2." To this day that game holds a special place in his heart. His favorite types of games are platformers. Jeremy started blogging for NintendoFuse in October 2010. He started off as a lurker on the forums who won a free copy of And Yet It Moves on WiiWare. From there he realized he liked the forums and the site and wanted to remain a part of it. He was brought on board shortly thereafter and has helped post news and reviews for the past couple of years. Currently Jeremy has taken a step back to focus on family and school. He assists in minor back-end site maintenance from time to time.
