Nintendo Download: June 6, 2013 – Animal Crossing, Yoshi, Spelunker, Sengoku, & Sales

Is Nintendo holding back something great for next week’s E3? It seems that way. Other than a big title for Nintendo 3DS coming on Sunday, today’s Nintendo Download only contains two games available today. The others are available early next week.

What is that big 3DS game? You probably do not need me to tell you that Animal Crossing: New Leaf will be available for download on June 9. Want more for your 3DS? Well, you are going to have to wait until next week, perhaps, because that is all this week contains for the handheld.

The Wii U has a bit more growth, but it is not much. Today, you can download Spelunker for the Virtual Console, and you can get Yoshi for the low price of 30 cents on June 12. Other than those two VC games, Nintendo did let us know that Trine 2: Director’s Cut is on sale for $9.99 until June 27, and Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth‘s price has been cut down to $29.99.

However, we do have one other new game today! Sengoku 3 is now on the Wii Virtual Console. That is right. Apparently, Nintendo is still pumping out VC games for Wii, even though the Wii U’s lineup is quite low.

Hopefully next week will bring much much more for you fans of the Nintendo Download. Until then, be sure to check out the full list of all the releases and prices below, along with the official press release, straight from Nintendo of America.
