Ubisoft Website Hacked; Lost Names and Passwords

Ubisoft LogoEarlier today, Ubisoft sent out emails to its userbase informing them that one of their websites was recently exploited, and the hackers gained access to some of their online systems. Some of the data accessed included usernames, email addresses, and encrypted passwords. As a result, Ubisoft is recommending all members change their passwords. In addition, if you happen to use the same or similar password for another online account, you should also change it. Granted, the passwords were encrypted, but that does not mean that prevents hackers from cracking them. It merely slows them down.
