REDMOND, Wash., Sept. 27, 2013 – Fans who are excited for the upcoming release of the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y games on Oct. 12 will be even more excited to know that the special-edition Pokémon X and Pokémon Y Nintendo 3DS XL systems are now available in stores.

The unique systems each feature the likenesses of Legendary Pokémon Xerneas from Pokémon X and Legendary Pokémon Yveltal from Pokémon Y. The systems are available in either red or blue at a suggested retail price of $199.99 each.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y are the next installments in the world-famous Pokémon series. The upcoming games offer a new generation of Pokémon, new Mega Evolutions and a host of new features. The Pokémon X and Pokémon Y games will be sold separately when they launch for Nintendo 3DS on Oct. 12.
