Nintendo Download: November 7, 2013

Welcome to the Nintendo Download… Download… Download.  On Thursdays… Thursdays… Thursdays.

Okay, sorry for that.  Well let’s take a peak at the upcoming games, shall we?  Both the Wii U eShop and 3DS eShop have hit big this week with, count’em 11 unique games, 13 counting duplicates on multiple platforms.  There is definitely something for everyone this week.  Let’s start with the big news that Wii Sports Club Tennis and Bowling have launched for the Wii U eShop.  Also on the Wii U eShop, we now have the original adventure/puzzle Toki Tori game.  Finally, the Wii U Virtual Console expands by 1 with the NES classic Wario’s Woods.  So some fitness/online games, adventure game and a classic puzzle game wrap up the Wii U eShop releases.

Next over on the 3DS side where the titles were just spilling out, Kid Icarus: Uprising has finally launched on the eShop.  Next we have a strategic puzzle game 4 Elements, an action/adventure games with Luxor and Crazy Chicken: Director’s Cut 3D (also available on DSi shop without 3D), a music creating app with KORG M01D, a children’s simulation game with My Pet Hotel 3Da mature (only) challenging adventure/action game with Secret Agent Files: Miami and to wrap it up the NES classic puzzler Wario’s Woods is also available on the 3DS eShop.

Greg’s gaming hobby started with the NES when his grandma purchased it for Christmas one year. He started with Super Mario Brothers with Duck Hunt set and Super Mario would become the first game he beat. From there he continued gaming with the SNES, Game Boy Pocket, Game Boy Color, Nintendo 64, Game Boy Advance, Game Cube, Nintendo DS (original, Lite, DSi), and then was a first week Wii owner.       Weird how it wasn’t in the press release… which is usually what this post is reflecting.

      I saw on the forums that 2 Fast 4 Gnomes is also on sale for the 3DS eShop.

      Yep, there is. It is odd they didn’t announce it in the ND, but yes. Everyone, Toki Tori 2+ is on sale! and the updated Toki Tori is only $2 until Dec. 6. Played a demo of the original on Steam. It was great!
