Miiverse Updates Following, Screenshots, and Video

Miiverse received another update today. In all versions, you can now follow someone from the followers list, instead of going to his or her profile. You will also see an icon signifying what communities do not allow screenshots; before, there was nothing. Also, on the Wii U version, when YouTube videos have a high quality option, you can now select it.

Check out Tom’s update below:

Hi there, it’s Tom at Nintendo.

Here are some notable changes from today’s Miiverse update.

Updates that affect Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and web versions:
-There is now a “follow” button in the followers list. You can now easily follow someone who is in your followers list, just press the “follow” button next to their names.

-Communities that doesn’t accept screenshots now displays an icon. Until now it was hard to tell if certain communities didn’t accept screenshots, but now there’s an icon that lets you know.

Update that affects the Wii U version:
-YouTube videos now have a button that can change it to play in higher quality.
*The button only supports videos that actually have a higher resolution.

That’s all I have for today, thanks!
