Mario Kart Wii on an Oculus Rift

Here’s something you don’t see every day. Well, at least you used to not see things like this. This guy is playing Mario Kart Wii on an Oculus Rift VR headset. In order to accomplish this, they used the Dolphin Emulator, TriDef3D, and XPadder. The only big issue is that there is some obvious problems with speed synchronization.

What do you think? Should Nintendo do something like this in the future? Maybe a return to VR with the Virtual Boy 2? (Only half-joking, of course. If you have been listening to our podcasts, you know we would love to hear confirmation of a VB2.)
