Hey guys, Greg filling in for Steve once again for this week’s Nintendo Download! We were surprised with plenty of Mario Kart 8 information yesterday, and now we have Thursday… so more Nintendo news, specifically Nintendo Download information. We have 3 new titles on the Wii U eShop with 4 available today on the 3DS eShop with 2 additional titles joining the eShop party tomorrow.
The Wii U gets a single virtual console game release with Mach Rider, and two other titles with Stick it to the Man and Abyss. The 3DS eShop gets much more love with it now being Mega May. Each week the 3DS will see a new Mega Man virtual console game. With it being the first of May, we start off with Mega Man Xtreme. Also on the 3DS eShop is Azada, Picross E4, and Tiny Games – Knights and Dragons. Available tomorrow, are the 2 major releases of both Mario Golf: World Tour and Kirby Triple Deluxe.

Mega Man™ Xtreme – It’s Mega May! Every Thursday in May, a different Mega Man game will launch in the Virtual Console section of the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS. Today’s release: Mega Man Xtreme. This spinoff to the Mega Man X games was originally released on Game Boy Color. In the action-packed platformer, Mega Man X must join forces with Middy, a genius hacker, and his partner Zero to restore peace. Help them defeat strong robotic enemies, obtain new abilities and clean up crime!

Mach Rider™ – It’s the year 2112. Earth has been invaded by the forces of evil. Battle the invaders as you race from sector to sector on your motorcycle, dodging obstacles and searching for survivors. Nintendo adds new titles weekly to the Nintendo eShop for the Wii U system as well as the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL systems, to the Nintendo DSi™ Shop for the Nintendo DSi system and to the Wii™ Shop Channel for the Wii console.
The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service that features games, applications and videos. Users can add money to their account balances by using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo eShop Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card. All funds from one card must be loaded in the Nintendo eShop on either Wii U or Nintendo 3DS, but can be used in either Nintendo eShop if the systems are linked to a single Nintendo Network account.
