Miiverse Updates Profile Page and Allows Comment Yeahs

Miiverse received another update yesterday. On the Wii U and 3DS, you will notice a new profile page that replaces the previous user menu. Also, on all versions, you can now “Yeah” comments on posts in addition to the posts, themselves.

Here’s more details from Tom:

Hi everyone, it’s Tom at Nintendo. We made a few updates to Miiverse today:

1. (Wii U and 3DS/2DS) We changed the Profile page for the Wii U and 3DS version. The User Menu button is now replaced with the “User Page”, where you can directly jump to your Profile. You can also now post a hand-written comment in your Profile page! Find your favorite hand-written comment or drawing you’ve posted in Miiverse, click on the wrench button and select “Set as Favorite Post” to display it in your Profile Page. You can also remove your Favorite Post by going to Profile Settings (You can go to the User Menu by clicking on the User Menu Button on the new Profile Page).

2. (All versions) We added the Yeah option for comments, so now you can give Yeah’s to not only posts, but to awesome comments too! By clicking on the comment, you can jump to a more detailed page where you can see some of the users that have given Yeah’s to the comment.

That all the news I have for today. Thanks for your patience as we try to improve Miiverse.
