Nintendo Download: June 12, 2014

Important!  The next character on Super Smash Brothers for Wii U & 3DS is…. Nintendo Download!  Nintendo Download has numerous special moves like increasing the virtual console titles, new downloadable titles and sales of existing games.  Watch out for it’s final smash where more than a dozen different sales overwhelm the opponent.  Nah, I’m just kidding!  Nintendo Download won’t be in the new Super Smash Brothers game for Wii U & 3DS.

However, this week in Nintendo Download the virtual console titles make up the bulk of the releases for a change.  For Wii U, we get Pac-Land, Pac-Man Collection and Soccer.  Pac-Man Collection includes Pan-Man, Pac-Mania, and Pac-Man Arrangement.  Over on the 3DS side, just a single virtual console title with the NES classic Double Dragon II: The Revenge.   There are two titles that are not virtual console and both of them are on the 3DS.  We have AiRace Xeno and Van Helsing Sniper Zx100.  Not a major week for new titles, but this the week of E3 after all.

If those new games don’t tickle your fancy, we have sales of epic proportions this week!  Did you like seeing all your favorite characters in Smash Brothers?  Well a number of their classic virtual console games are on sale!  Save up to 30% on top franchises being featured including Super Mario Bros., Sonic the Hedgehog, Yoshi and The Legend of Zelda games.  That’s not all either, Ikachan, Cave Story 3D, Nightsky, VVVVVV, Inazuma Eleven, Soccer Up 3D, Resident Evil Revelations, 2 Fast 4 Gnomz, and AiRace Speed all have sales of varying degrees.  To see those titles specific amounts, see below.

That’s it for this week’s Nintendo Download.
