Super Smash Bros. All Star Mode is a Trip Through Video Game History

Super Smash Bros. is already filled with a ton of nostalgia, but the newly announced All Star Mode lets you take your own smashing trip down memory lane. You will face multiple opponents at a time. Once you beat that stage, you will move on to the next, with more characters, usually in chronological order. Your goal is to defeat them all with limited recovery items and no continues. Sakurai, the Director of Smash Bros., states that this mode will remain incomplete until you unlock all the characters.
