Mario Kart 8 Goes Deluxe on Nintendo Switch

Mario Kart 8 is getting what Nintendo has called the “definitive edition” on Nintendo Switch. On April 28, the Mario Kart you know and love on Wii U is getting even better with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Not only will new characters, maps, karts, and items be back, they have also fixed what was arguably the worst aspect of the original — Battle mode. That’s the part that excites me the most. In fact, it is enough to make me feel all right about buying it again.

Nintendo Switch January 2017 Presentation Does Not Disappoint

The Nintendo Switch is officially launching worldwide on March 3, 2017, at a suggested retail price of $299, here in the United States with many games. Among them are The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but also some new games like 1-2-Switch.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to be a Launch Title for Switch

The Nintendo Switch event just wrapped up in Tokyo. They covered so much information, including a host of games, but one they omitted until the very end was possibly the most anticipated — The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

After witnessing some amazing gameplay videos, we were teased many times before the date finally popped up on the screen — March 3, 2017. Zelda will officially be a launch title for the Nintendo Switch.

Unfortunately, they did not mention anything about the Wii U version. It may come out the same day, at a later date, or it could be scrapped altogether. We will keep looking into this and update it if we find out.
