This week’s Nintendo Download is definitely Nintendo 3DS-heavy. With only one new game each for Wii U and DSiWare, the five games for 3DS seem to definitely stand out.

While Nintendo may not be releasing new retail games for Wii U, they are still pushing digital, along with a number of new titles for Nintendo 3DS. The Nintendo DSi and Wii even get one new game each this week.

On the heels of a Wii U Nintendo Direct yesterday, Nintendo is back with their list of new digital releases for January 24, 2013.

While Nintendo just unloaded a ton of launch information for Wii U, 3DS, Wii, and DS, this week’s Nintendo Download seems a bit small. Even so, there is still some quality titles. The unfortunate part for some is that all the titles are for the 3DS, save one app for Wii.

If you like to own or catch/kill animals, today’s Nintendo Download is for you! Although, there are also some new games for those of you who like zombies, sports, and fighting as well.

A new year and a ton of brand new digital content, right? Well, only if you are a Nintendo 3DS owner.

In addition to Nintendo TVii launching today, we have an array of downloadable content across all Nintendo systems.

It seems that Nintendo is still pushing for full retail games to make their way to the eShop, as two more additions are made this week. On top of that, we get two new demos of retail games on the eShop for Wii U. In all, we have 13 games and videos this week.

After a sleepy week, the Nintendo Download is back in full force with a new load of Nintendo 3DS, DSiWare, Virtual Console, and Wii U games.
