Nintendo Download – Dec. 8, 2011

As the holiday season is in full swing here in North America, Nintendo brings some downloadable goodies our way. In addition to the 3DS system update that launched on the evening of December 6, they are adding four new games and one demo to their download shops on Wii, DSi, and 3DS.

What will be added? For starters, Pushmo hits the 3DS eShop with more than 200 3D puzzles. Castle Conquerer – Against and Word Searcher 4 both hit the DSiWare service. WiiWare grows by one new game, Paper Wars – Canon Fodder, and a (free) demo of MotoHeroz.

Nintendo 3DS System Update Details for June 6 – Includes Pokemon, Excitebike, eShop, Internet Browser, & More

In just four days, Nintendo 3DS owners will finally get the system update they have been waiting for. Nintendo has released an official press release, posted below, that explains much of what will be included. In addition to the Pokedex 3D and 3D Classic version of Excitebike, which we have already reported on yesterday, we get much more. The eShop will include Game Boy games Super Mario Land, Alleyway, and Radar Mission. New content, in contrast to the DSi Shop and Wii Shop, will be available on Thursdays. The internet browsers can “show 3D images on sites specifically designed to show 3D images.” We have to wait until Monday to find out specifically what that means. [...]
